Brisbane, Queensland: TSWG Chairman Mr Graham Olrich today announced the appointment of senior banking executive Mr John Williams as TSWG Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
Mr Williams who will commence the role at the end of January 2017 has worked with the Australian banking industry for more than 25 years and has extensive experience which includes his most recent role as Chief Operating Officer at Heritage Bank. Mr Williams has held Board positions with Australian Settlements Limited and Shared Service Partners.
Mr Olrich said TSWG was fortunate to gain someone with Mr Williams’s expertise and reputation.
“Mr Williams joins TSWG at an exciting time. The Board and Shareholders are very pleased to appoint an experienced executive who has strong alignment with the TSWG values and culture,” he said.
Along with his extensive workplace experience, Mr Williams has been awarded academic qualifications which include Master of Business Administration, AssDipAppSc, AssDipEng, FACS, FAIM, GAICD. He is actively involved in professional and community organisations and has held many not-for-profit Board and advisory roles. Mr Williams has a strong ICT background along with extensive strategic management, governance and leadership experience.
